The Sussex swim school is fantastic! We have been attending lessons with Sara for the last 5 years with my 2 sons. Sara is the best swimming teacher, super experienced and so so great with all the kids, making the swimming lessons fun and enjoyable. Both my boys were super shy and nervous to start swimming so we started with private lessons with Sara before heading to the small group lessons which worked perfectly to get them accustomed to Sara and the environment. Hilary will look after you super well too, communicating well and answering any concerns promptly. I highly recommend!

The Sussex Swim School offer personal, caring lessons to children of all ages. My two sons have made great progress since joining and are so much more water confident now. We are very happy with the teacher and the lovely pool at Beedinglee and highly recommend.

Our three children have been at Sussex swim school for over five years now. We couldn’t praise the school enough. Every teacher is extremely knowledgeable, fun and enthusiastic. The pool and facilities are always so clean and well equipped. My children have all become very strong swimmers and most importantly LOVE going. Thanks for Hilary and all the team so far.

I’ve been bringing both my children to Sussex swim school for over a year. They are at two different locations but each are really lovely pools which are clean with good changing facilities. The teachers are brilliant and there is always excellent communication with Hilary who doesn’t mind chatting about concerns. Highly recommend.

Both of our children have been learning to swim here from under 6 months old - now nearly 3 & 5 yrs old respectively. The level of confidence and ability they both reached in a short period of time and continued to sustain was both very rewarding and an impressive feat on behalf of the friendly, playful and talented instructors. Both of us as parents would look forward to our classes at Lower Beeding, which is a lovely open environment in an extraordinarily picturesque setting. Class sizes were rarely more than 5 or 6 children, often smaller which allows for an enormous amount of focused attention. I couldn’t recommend the Sussex swim school more highly.

Great company! I took my oldest boy here when he was little (now 10) for his swim lessons and to build his confidence in the water. Had no hesitation in going back with my younger boy (2 year old) for the same reasons. The staff are all lovely, the swim teacher (Lesley) is great with the children and has a good balance of fun and learning. Hilary who is in the office is great at answering any questions and does so very efficiently also very friendly. Simply cannot recommend them enough for anybody looking to take your little person swimming.

Absolutely love our weekly sessions at the swim school. It’s my daughters highlight of the week, My other two children also Learnt to swim here too. If your looking for a lovely warm clean pool, with amazing kind, patient teachers then look no further than the Sussex swim school. Small classes, teachers teach in the water and sessions are fun. My son has been attending the baby beginner classes since he was 8 weeks old and absolutely loves it! Together we have learnt so much but in a fun and interactive way. It has been so much better than expected and I’ve enjoyed watching him progress as the weeks have gone on Our swim teacher has been fantastic, so friendly and the pool is lovely and warm for the babies! Highly recommended this swim school

My daughter absolutely loves her swimming lessons at Sussex Swim School. Her confidence has grown massively and it's fantastic watching her swim independently. The lessons have a small number of children in each class and her teacher Lisa is brilliant. Communication with Hilary is fantastic, couldn't ask for more

My 6.5 year old son has just started swimming here and he absolutely loves it! We've moved across from another swim school and this one is great as there are only 6 children in the water and the class has the whole pool to themselves. I think he's going to really excel swimming here and he loves his teacher and the pool! Parking on site too which is great. Lovely friendly staff and communication has been great too.
