A friend and I met for Sunday lunch. Pork belly was devine and followed by the tastiest roast chicken I think I've ever had. Beautiful view of the dear nibbling at the fairway. Charming and knowledgeable staff and good size carpark. Will definitely visit again.

I had an amazing Afternoon Tea in the Vineyard Kitchen Restaurant for my mum & dad's wedding anniversary. The service was brilliant, the food was delicious and we all loved the ambience of the venue and agreed the refurbishment had been done to a very high standard. It's a great place for a family celebration! Especially as they are so great with kids.
Parking: Loads and free.

This beautiful estate is now the home of two golf courses and a vineyard; one of the original 18 hole golf courses was reduced to nine holes for the planting of 30 acres of vines in 2016.
We booked a golf buggy tour of the vineyard following by wine tasting at the Vineyard Kitchen. The first vintage of Estate English Sparkling wine will be produced from these vines in 2023, and so the tasting was of wines from the owner’s Benguela Cove Estate in South Africa.
The ‘Self-Drive Buggy Tour’ was fun, and our guide, Ellie, was really friendly and informative. We found the price, including the tasting back at the clubhouse, to be very reasonable.
We stayed for more drinks and lunch (at an additional cost) on the terrace overlooking the beautiful 18 hole golf course. A very good day out.

We had Sunday lunch for five at The Vineyard Kitchen yesterday and it was delicious. The restauant is clean and spacious, lovely surroundings. The food portions are spot on with plenty of vegetables cooked to perfection as was the meat. The price was very reasonable and we would highly recommend this restaurant, very surprised it wasn't packed out but I am sure it will be eventually. Service also came with a smile!

Really good food at reasonable prices, private room made eating with a large group of kids painless. No concerns about upsetting other diners.

I arranged a group tour for 45 to Leonardslee to see the gardens we had coffee and lunch at Benguela Brasserie first. The lunch was fantastic, a buffet beautifully presented with all sorts of smoked fish, prawns, lovely smooth pork pie, ham and cheeses served with interesting salads, Not just a bowl of lettuce but mixed with anchovies cheese and other dressings. I wish we had taken a photo it was really attractive and beautiful to eat. We had just had a wine tasting so still had our glasses of wine to finish with it, wow. After they served coffee, we also had coffee when we arrived. Thank you, especially to Wendy , who helped me and made this such a wonderful event. We shall be back.
