Spent a memorable afternoon wine tasting the Coolhurst range, in the delightful company of Sam & Will. Their wines are superb and have raised the bar significantly for me, on what I can expect to be produced by an English vineyard.

Unable to comment as it was shut and only an answer phone when calling. Google showed up the result and their website confirmed a shop but there is no signs or advertising in what I assume is the entrance according to the vineyard website. Maybe at some point in the future I can advise what is like and what the wine is like.

Had the pleasuring of sampling the Coolhurst label a Cote de Provence rosé at the Fountain in Ashurst yesterday. Was very pleasantly surprised, not usually a rose drinker I found it much more flavoursome than I expected, more akin to a Pinot Noir but of course with that pale peach/pink colouring. Will definitely be ordering some and I am looking forward to trying their sparkling range as I'm a huge fan of English sparkling wines.

Seriously the best English sparkling I’ve ever tasted and they also produce to their own recipe and import on their Coolhurst label a Cote de Provence rosé which is stunning. It’s beaten Whispering Angel, Miraval and many more in blind tastings. Love it! ♥️

Superb fresh characterful sparking and still English rose. Will and his team have created some truly memorable wines!
